Our Story
HMI Auto Care was founded and is owned by Ray McLaughlin. He started the business in a small, one-bay shop without even a lift, working on vehicles with jack stands and a lot of determination. Ray’s dedication and skill quickly made him a trusted name in Hackettstown, known not just for fixing cars but for making every customer feel at ease during stressful repair situations.
Ray’s son, Sean McLaughlin, has been part of the shop’s journey since he was 17. He grew up watching and learning from my dad and pursued his career further by attending NASCAR Technical Institute. Inspired by his father’s work ethic and passion, Sean currently manages operations at HMI Auto Care.
